With conditions similar to Rifles, this insane right-hander is exceptionally hollow, offering freight train rights for those brave enough to take on the challenge. It’s often a ‘pay to play’ spot, and this wave can serve up the good, the bad, and the ugly – the last session was bone dry. Once you commit to this wave, I recommend paddling hard, holding your line, and going for an intense and highly rewarding feeling at the end when you come out.”

Shadow Right thrives on a south swell, delivering the perfect conditions for an exhilarating ride
Wind
The best wind conditions are West or North/Northwest winds, ensuring an ideal surfing experience.
Tide
For the ultimate experience, target high to mid tide. Exercise caution, especially on the end section.
Location
Shadow Right is conveniently located only 3 to 5 minutes from our door. You can actually catch a glimpse of the wave from our front verandah when it’s on.
Distance
Expect a short 3 to 5-minute boat ride from our resort to access the electrifying waves of Shadow Right.
